Role overview

Room and reservation operations

• Assign rooms based on guest preferences when possible, pre-register designated guests, and prepare key packets.
• Coordinate group arrivals and check-in procedures; handle room and checkout change requests and communicate updates.
• Confirm reservations and cancellations, check duplicate bookings, identify over-commitments, and block rooms.
• Review out-of-order rooms daily and verify rates against market codes, documenting exceptions.

Guest services and administration

• Process check-ins and check-outs, activate room keys, verify and adjust billing, and secure valid payment.
• File guest paperwork, run daily reports, and accurately receive and relay messages.
• Follow up with guests about requests or problems and coordinate with other departments.
• Protect confidential information and company assets, and follow service and quality standards.

Preferred qualifications

• Less than one year of related work experience is listed as preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is listed as preferred.
• No supervisory experience, license, or certification is specified.

Workplace and physical demands
