Position overview

Security and loss prevention

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire and life safety systems; lock entrances when required.
• Inspect physical hazards daily, resolve safety hazards, and respond to accidents and emergencies.
• Contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required; assist guests and employees during emergencies.
• Notify appropriate individuals of incidents, defuse disturbances, and call for outside assistance when needed.
• Complete incident reports and loss-prevention shift summaries; protect confidential records.
• Escort unwelcome persons from the property and respond to vehicle accidents and thefts using proper code responses.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.

Guest service and general duties

• Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, handle complaints, and communicate professionally.
• Maintain positive working relationships, follow company policies and quality standards, and protect company assets.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Prepare and review documents accurately and use computers or point-of-sale systems for work information.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and physical demands

• No related work experience or supervisory experience is stated as necessary.
• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred; no license or certification is listed.
• The work requires extended standing, sitting, or walking; rapid movement; and handling objects up to 50 pounds alone or over 75 pounds with assistance.
• The role requires moving through confined or elevated spaces, over uneven or slippery surfaces, on stairs or ramps, and reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping.
