Overview
- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design review and integration of rolling stock.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Manage and conduct testing and commissioning of rolling stock by D&B contractors.
- Coordinate with signaling, telecommunications, and power supply teams.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance teams.
- Review and approve technical designs and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve rolling stock issues.
- Prepare and present rolling stock reports.
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure system performance.
Qualifications
- and Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Extensive experience in rolling stock engineering.
- Knowledge of rolling stock systems and industry standards.
- Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in rolling stock specific engineering.
- Strong project management and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with rail vehicle systems.
- Familiarity with rolling stock software tools.
- Ability to manage complex projects and deadlines.
