Laboratory overview

Essential functions

• Perform preventive maintenance on robotic instrumentation according to manufacturer recommendations and laboratory procedures.
• Document all equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain backups of clinical testing data.
• Troubleshoot and repair broken equipment with guidance as required.
• Communicate with equipment manufacturers about troubleshooting and repair.

Additional responsibilities

• Perform other similar or assigned duties.
• Conduct activities safely and handle materials according to safety guidelines.
• Maintain customer privacy at all times.
• Participate as a team member and remain accountable for assigned responsibilities.
• Provide information in a supportive, timely, and understandable manner.
• Proactively diagnose and resolve problems while maintaining productive work habits, accuracy, and quality.

Job qualifications

• Complete nine months of Clinical Laboratory Technician training.
• Be able to sit, stand, walk, and perform repetitive motion such as manual pipetting.
• Have proficient visual and audio skills.
