Robotic Service Tech - Laboratory

Position Overview

Essential Functions

• Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations and laboratory standard operating procedures.
• Document all equipment repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
• Back up clinical testing data.
• Troubleshoot and repair broken equipment, obtaining guidance as required.
• Communicate with equipment manufacturers regarding troubleshooting and repair.

• Handle materials safely and follow applicable safety guidelines.
• Maintain customer privacy and communicate information in a supportive, timely, and understandable manner.
• Demonstrate initiative, productive work habits, accuracy, quality, and accountability.

Job Qualifications

• Nine months of Clinical Laboratory Technician training is required.
• The role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform repetitive motion including manual pipetting.
• Proficient visual and audio skills are required.

Work Environment

• The role involves working with laboratory equipment and requires physical activity including sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive motion.
