Position and location

Permanent Road Safety Specialist position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of road safety experience focused on Road Safety Audits (RSA).
  • Road safety training or certification is required; ITC-recognized RSA Team Member approval is preferred.
  • Experience with all RSA stages, different schemes, and crash site investigations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
  • GCC or European RSA work experience is required.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Conduct RSAs at all stages for highway and expressway projects.
  • Investigate crash sites, identify issues, and recommend improvements; collect and analyze crash data.
  • Participate in client, contractor, and other meetings; prepare reports, presentations, and calculation sheets.
  • Analyze traffic and safety patterns, high-risk locations, and intervention effectiveness; use current road safety best practices.
  • Assess vulnerable road user safety and recommend measures to enhance protection.
  • Perform other relevant duties assigned by the line manager.
