Business Analyst & QA Analyst – Enterprise Applications

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Prepare and maintain BRD, FDS, SRS, user stories, process flows, RTM, test plans, test cases, UAT documents, and defect reports.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and technical teams.
• Work on enterprise applications with complex workflows, integrations, high data volumes, and diverse user roles.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing of mobile, web, and enterprise platforms.
• Perform API testing and PostgreSQL database validation.
• Log, track, retest, and manage defects through closure; support and coordinate UAT.
• Ensure requirements are covered through testing and traceability.
• Participate in requirements workshops, sprint discussions, demos, and release activities.

Essential qualifications and experience

• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis and QA/software testing.
• Proven experience with large-scale enterprise applications and mobile and web application testing.
• Strong experience preparing BRD, FDS, SRS, Test Plans, Test Cases, RTM, and UAT documentation.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• API testing experience using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL for data validation; experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Fluent English and Arabic are mandatory.

Desirable experience

• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium is desirable.
• Experience with government, semi-government, banking, GIS, logistics, telecom, or similar enterprise environments is desirable.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery is desirable.
