A leading pharmacy group is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead pharmaceutical purchasing, supplier management, and inventory optimization across its pharmacy network and medical complex pharmacies.

Job Summary

This role focuses on driving profitability, optimizing procurement strategies, and enhancing supplier performance within a dynamic healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in improving margins, reducing costs, and ensuring product availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Develop and execute procurement strategies to support growth and profitability**
  • **Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and commercial agreements**
  • **Negotiate pricing, rebates, contracts, and payment terms**
  • **Optimize inventory, reduce expiries, and improve stock turnover**
  • **Lead category management strategies to enhance sales and margins**
  • **Analyze supplier and product performance for data-driven decisions**
  • **Collaborate with cross-functional teams (medical, finance, operations, marketing)**
  • **Ensure compliance with SFDA regulations and internal policies**
  • **Prepare procurement reports, KPIs, and lead team development**

Qualifications & Experience

  • **Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (mandatory)**
  • **7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement**
  • **Proven experience in pharmacy chains or healthcare organizations**
  • **Strong supplier network within Saudi Arabia**
  • **Strong negotiation and cost optimization track record**
  • **Advanced skills in inventory management and demand forecasting**
  • **Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and procurement platforms**

Preferred Qualifications

  • **MBA (Finance / Supply Chain / Operations)**
  • **Experience in medical complexes or specialty clinics**
  • **Strong background in category management and commercial performance**
