It Support Specialist

Al Farabi Medical Company

is looking for an

It Support Specialist

to join our team in Riyadh.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems across the company's medical facilities.

Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to respond quickly to technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for users across all departments.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install and configure Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Manage user accounts, email accounts, and system access permissions.
  • Monitor and maintain network devices, internet connectivity, and shared resources.
  • Support biometric attendance devices, printers, and peripheral equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and system backups.
  • Coordinate with external vendors when required.
  • Document technical issues and maintain IT support records.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and information security standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • **Minimum 1 year of experience**
  • in IT Support or Help Desk.
  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).
  • Experience with Active Directory is preferred.
  • Familiarity with antivirus solutions and endpoint security.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience in the healthcare or medical sector is an advantage.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
