Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and select appropriate lifting gear such as slings, shackles, hooks, chains, and wire ropes.
- Attach loads securely for crane and hoisting operations.
- Calculate load weights and determine safe lifting methods.
- Direct crane operators using hand signals, radios, or other communication methods.
- Ensure compliance with lifting plans and safety procedures.
- Inspect rigging equipment for damage and report defects.
- Assist in loading, unloading, and positioning heavy equipment and materials.
- Maintain records of lifting equipment inspections where required.
- Follow marine, offshore, and shipyard safety regulations.
- Pay: Up to AED1,800.00 per month
