The Rigger is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing complex lifting and rigging operations.
This role leads rigging teams, ensures compliance with lifting plans, and maintains the highest safety standards on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute **complex and critical lifts**
- Prepare, review, and approve **lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements**
- Inspect, select, and certify appropriate **rigging gear and lifting equipment**
- Coordinate with **crane operators, supervisors, and engineers**
- Ensure lifts comply with **company procedures, international standards, and local regulations**
- Conduct **toolbox talks and safety briefings**
- Identify hazards and implement **control measures**
- Stop unsafe lifting operations when required
- Maintain accurate **rigging and lifting records**
- Mentor junior riggers and promote safe work culture
