ADNOC APPROVED - Lifting Supervisor (Onshore)

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and control all lifting operations on-site in accordance with approved lifting plans and procedures.
• Ensure all lifting activities comply with ADNOC, client, and statutory safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Appointed Persons, Crane Operators, Banksmen, Riggers, and site personnel before and during lifting operations.
• Verify that cranes, lifting accessories, and rigging equipment have valid certifications and inspections.
• Conduct pre-lift briefings and toolbox talks with lifting teams.
• Review and implement approved lifting plans and risk assessments.
• Monitor lifting operations to ensure safe working practices are followed at all times.
• Stop any lifting activity that presents an unsafe condition or deviates from approved procedures.
• Ensure proper selection and use of lifting equipment and accessories.
• Maintain records of lifting activities, inspections, and safety observations.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions when required.
• Coordinate with HSE personnel to ensure compliance with site safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
• ADNOC-approved Lifting Supervisor certification (preferred).
• Valid Third-Party Lifting Supervisor Certification.
• Additional HSE certifications will be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum **5–10 years of experience** as a Lifting Supervisor in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Construction, or Industrial Projects.
• Experience in **ADNOC Onshore projects** is mandatory/preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging practices, and crane safety requirements.

• Thorough understanding of lifting plans, load charts, and rigging calculations.
• Knowledge of ADNOC lifting procedures and international standards.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to identify hazards and implement effective control measures.
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

• ADNOC Approved Lifting Supervisor

• Lifting Supervisor Certification from recognized training provider
• H2S Certification

• First Aid Certification

• Defensive Driving (if applicable)

Work Environment

• Onshore Oil & Gas facilities, construction sites, and industrial plants.
• Willingness to work in remote locations, rotational shifts, and project-based assignments.
