Retail Store Manager

Position overview

Operational management

• Oversee store operations for efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain store presentation, cleanliness, and product availability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Staff and customer management

• Train, supervise, motivate, and evaluate staff.
• Schedule shifts and manage time-off requests.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and handle inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
• Foster a customer-focused culture.

Expiry and product knowledge

• Implement FIFO stock rotation and the seven-day expiry policy.
• Train staff on expiry handling and product knowledge.
• Stay updated on new products and supplier updates.

Promotions and suppliers

• Ensure staff are aware of ongoing promotions.
• Verify LPO orders and maintain supplier relations.

Inventory and merchandising

• Manage inventory levels and conduct stock checks.
• Implement merchandising strategies for sales growth.
• Ensure accurate pricing and product displays.

Financial, safety, and marketing

• Monitor sales, budget, and cash handling.
• Control costs and maximize profitability.
• Maintain safety and security for staff and customers.
• Oversee in-store promotions and marketing campaigns.
• Analyze sales data and foster local community relationships to drive traffic.

Qualifications and working conditions

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in F&B and food retail management.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift or carry items, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Job type is full-time and permanent.
• Work location is in person.
• Pay is AED 3,500 to AED 4,500 per month.
