This is a summer internship running from May through August 2027.
The Retail Field Intern - Agronomy Assistant will learn the operations of a Nutrien Ag Solutions retail location and support agronomists serving growers.
The role provides hands-on experience applying academic agriculture knowledge to real-world crop production situations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with crop scouting, soil sampling, and data collection.
- Interpret data to support recommendations for fertilizers, pesticides, and other crop inputs.
- Help plan and execute field days and grower meetings.
- Maintain relationships with growers and internal teams.
- Comply with company and industry regulatory and environmental, health, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a two- or four-year higher education degree program in agriculture or a related program with an interest in agriculture.
- Expected graduation date must be December 2027 or later.
- Must possess a valid Canadian driver's license.
