Restaurant Supervisor
About This Role
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the mandi restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining hygiene standards, and supervising staff to deliver authentic dining experiences efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily restaurant operations (dine-in, takeaway, and delivery).
- Ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction at all times.
- Monitor preparation and serving of mandi dishes to maintain quality and authenticity.
- Train, guide, and supervise waiters, kitchen helpers, and support staff.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
- Coordinate between kitchen and service staff for timely food delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards as per UAE regulations.
- Ensure proper table setup, service standards, and restaurant presentation.
- Monitor staff attendance, duty schedules, and discipline.
- Assist in stock checking, inventory control, and ordering supplies.
- Ensure proper handling of cash, billing, and POS system.
- Support management in achieving sales targets and reducing wastage.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar role (preferably in Arabic/Mandi cuisine).
- Strong knowledge of mandi dishes, traditional serving styles, and customer expectations.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP is an advantage).
- Basic computer knowledge (POS systems).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
