Assistant General Manager role at a premium, high-volume dining venue in Dubai.
Supports the General Manager with daily operations and business performance, team leadership, service standards, efficiency, profitability, and guest experience.
Candidate profile
- Management experience in a high-end restaurant environment and experience in high-volume restaurants.
- Ability to manage and motivate large teams.
- Understanding of hospitality trends, guest preferences, and premium dining operations.
- Currently based in Dubai and available for a face-to-face interview.
- Financial literacy including hands-on budgeting, P&L management, and performance analysis.
- Ability to lead and develop teams in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; proactive and guest-centric approach.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations with the General Manager and maintain brand and service standards.
- Improve productivity, quality, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain regulatory, safety, and hygiene compliance.
- Lead and develop the team and partner on recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Anticipate guest needs, address concerns, and uphold service standards.
- Assist with budget management, P&L oversight, and cost control.
- Analyze reports and operational data, implement corrective actions, and collaborate on business strategy and planning.
