Overview

  • **Role: Resident Engineer – Infrastructure Deployment & Migration**
  • **Location: Dubai, UAE**
  • **Experience: 5+ Years**
  • **Work Mode: Full-Time Onsite**

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure deployment, configuration, testing, and migration activities across global outstations.
  • Coordinate with IT, Security, Network, WINTEL, BAU, OEMs, logistics partners, and remote site teams.
  • Manage rack & stack installations, server deployments, firmware upgrades, backup validation, and controlled cutovers across multiple locations.
  • Deploy and manage HPE OneView for centralized monitoring and infrastructure management.
  • Execute data migration, restoration, backup validation, troubleshooting, and hyper-care support.
  • Coordinate global infrastructure rollouts, PC replacement projects across 63 sites, and third-party vendor activities.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security, governance, and operational standards.

Required Technical Skills

  • **HPE ProLiant Server Deployment & Administration**
  • **HPE OneView Management**
  • **Windows Server Installation & Administration**
  • **Arcserve Backup Administration & Recovery Operations**
  • **Firmware & BIOS Upgrades**
  • **Data Migration & Cutover Management**
  • **Networking Fundamentals (IP, DNS, VLAN, OOB)**
  • **Infrastructure Monitoring & Observability**
  • **Documentation & Reporting**

Preferred Experience

  • **Minimum 5 years in infrastructure deployment and enterprise system integration**
  • **Multi-site/global infrastructure rollout experience**
  • **Datacenter operations and server migration expertise**
  • **Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills**
  • **Experience in mission-critical enterprise environments**

Preferred Certifications

  • **HPE ATP / ASE**
  • **Microsoft Windows Server Certifications**
  • **Backup & Infrastructure Management Certifications**
