Overview

  • **Role: Azure L2- Cloud Consultant**
  • **Notice: Immediate Joining**
  • **Location: Dubai, Onsite**

Azure & AWS Cloud Infrastructure

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure and AWS cloud environments including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security components.
  • Implement and maintain Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Bicep scripts for infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
  • Configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks (VNet), VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, AWS VPC, and interconnectivity between cloud environments.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, CloudWatch, and implement alerting and auto-scaling policies.
  • Manage IAM roles, Azure AD (Entra ID), RBAC policies, and enforce security best practices across cloud platforms.
  • Perform cost optimization, resource tagging, and governance using Azure Cost Management and AWS Cost Explorer.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve L2 incidents related to Azure and AWS services, escalating to L3/vendor as needed.

Windows 365 (W365)

  • Provision, configure, and manage Windows 365 Cloud PCs for end users across Business and Enterprise plans.
  • Integrate Windows 365 with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager for device management and policy enforcement.
  • Manage user assignments, license allocation, and Cloud PC provisioning policies via Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • Troubleshoot Windows 365 connectivity, performance, and provisioning issues at L2 level.
  • Configure network policies, on-premises network connections (ONC), and Azure AD join for W365 Cloud PCs.

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop host pools, application groups, and workspaces.
  • Configure session host VMs, FSLogix profile containers, and MSIX app attach for AVD environments.
  • Implement AVD scaling plans, load balancing, and auto-scaling to optimize cost and performance.
  • Manage user access policies, Conditional Access, and MFA integration for AVD environments.
  • Troubleshoot AVD session connectivity, performance degradation, profile issues, and printing configurations.
  • Monitor AVD environments using Azure Monitor Workbooks and Log Analytics for proactive health management.

L2 Support & Implementation

  • Serve as the primary L2 escalation point for cloud-related incidents and service requests.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Collaborate with L1 support teams, cloud architects, and project managers on implementation projects.
  • Participate in change management, CAB reviews, and ensure all changes follow ITIL processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients or business units to cloud platforms, ensuring smooth migrations.

Microsoft Azure

  • Azure Compute: VMs, VMSS, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services
  • Azure Networking: VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Azure DNS, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute
  • Azure Storage: Blob, Files, Disk, Data Lake
  • Azure Security: Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault
  • Azure DevOps, ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform for IaC

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • AWS Compute: EC2, Auto Scaling, ECS, Lambda
  • AWS Networking: VPC, Route 53, CloudFront, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway

• AWS Storage: S3, EFS, EBS, Glacier

  • AWS Security: IAM, AWS Organizations, SCPs, GuardDuty, Security Hub
  • AWS CloudWatch, AWS Config, AWS CloudTrail for monitoring and compliance
  • AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for infrastructure automation

Windows 365 & AVD

  • Hands-on experience with Windows 365 provisioning and management
  • Strong expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop architecture and configuration
  • Proficiency with FSLogix profile management, MSIX App Attach, and OneDrive KFM
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)
  • Knowledge of RDP, HDX, and virtual desktop protocols and performance tuning

General & Cross-Platform

  • Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash scripting, and Azure CLI / AWS CLI
  • Understanding of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or Freshservice
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and hybrid identity
  • Familiarity with backup and DR solutions: Azure Backup, AWS Backup, Veeam
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
