Position Overview

RIKAS Hospitality Group is seeking a highly organized, guest-focused Reservations Agent to join our new festive dining concept.

The Reservations Agent will be responsible for managing all restaurant bookings, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring a seamless reservation experience that supports both operational efficiency and exceptional guest service.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high booking volumes in a fast-paced, high-energy hospitality environment.

Reservations Management

  • Handle all incoming reservations via phone, email, online platforms, and internal systems.
  • Accurately input, update, and manage reservations in the booking system.
  • Ensure daily reservation sheets are up to date and properly communicated to the operations team.
  • Manage table allocations in coordination with the Host/Hostess team and management.

Guest Communication

  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries regarding bookings, availability, and restaurant information.
  • Provide clear information about menus, timings, dress code, and special events.
  • Confirm, amend, and cancel reservations as required.
  • Handle VIP bookings and special requests with care and attention to detail.

Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with the Hostess team to ensure smooth guest arrival and seating flow.
  • Communicate booking trends, peak periods, and special requirements to management.
  • Support floor planning to optimize occupancy and guest experience.
  • Assist in managing waitlists during fully booked services.

Guest Experience

  • Ensure all guests receive a professional, friendly, and consistent pre-arrival experience.
  • Capture guest preferences and ensure relevant notes are communicated to the service team.
  • Assist in building guest profiles and maintaining database accuracy.
  • Contribute to delivering a personalized and memorable guest journey.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain accurate reservation records and reports.
  • Support daily, weekly, and monthly reservation summaries when required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and brand standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in reservations, guest relations, or front-of-house roles in hospitality.
  • Strong communication and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience with reservation systems (e.g., SevenRooms, OpenTable, Resy or similar) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
