About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Membership Director
to lead the membership strategy for a new exclusive private members' club opening in DIFC.
This is a unique opportunity to shape one of Dubai's most prestigious communities by attracting exceptional members, delivering an outstanding member experience, and building a thriving network.
The Membership Director will oversee the full membership lifecycle, from acquisition and onboarding to engagement and retention, while working closely with senior leadership to ensure the club remains highly exclusive, commercially successful, and recognised as one of the region's premier private clubs.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the club's membership strategy to attract and retain an exclusive member community.
- Manage the full membership journey, from prospecting and onboarding to engagement and renewals.
- Build strong relationships with members, VIP guests, corporate partners and prospective members.
- Work closely with the Events and Marketing teams to deliver exclusive experiences and promote the club.
- Monitor membership performance, revenue and retention, identifying opportunities for growth.
- Recruit, lead and develop the Membership team, ensuring exceptional service standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for members, ensuring a personalised and outstanding experience.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve commercial and membership objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in membership sales, luxury hospitality, private clubs, lifestyle brands or premium customer relationship management.
- Proven experience managing high-value client relationships.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with HNWIs and VIP clientele.
- Excellent networking, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience opening a luxury hospitality venue or private members' club is highly desirable.
