The role enhances data, analysis, and insights across the university’s research and impact portfolio.
Two full-time vacancies are available: one open-ended and one fixed-term until 31 July 2027.

Role responsibilities
- Analyze the research portfolio to inform senior decision-making as the university launches a new 10-year strategy.
- Support REF submissions with data and benchmarking.
- Scope and implement reporting from the Worktribe awards management system to maximize its benefits.
What the university is looking for
- Experience preparing, analyzing, and visualizing data in a data analytics function or similar role.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for exploring unfamiliar data and questions and offering recommendations and solutions.
- Flexibility and organizational skills to manage competing demands and multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team.
- Willingness to acquire and share new knowledge and skills.
- Higher-education sector experience is advantageous, not essential.
- Worktribe, Unit4 ERP (Agresso), Pure, or Scopus experience is advantageous, not essential.
