Role Description

The Research Analytics Manager will lead data-driven initiatives that support FITE’s advocacy and decision-making efforts.

This part-time, hybrid role is based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site collaboration and flexible work-from-home arrangements.

Day-to-day work includes collecting and cleaning data on employment trends, member cases, and workplace issues, then performing statistical and analytical evaluations to identify patterns and insights.

The role involves designing and maintaining dashboards and visual reports for leadership, preparing concise research summaries and presentations, and supporting campaigns with evidence-based analysis.

The Research Analytics Manager will also collaborate with union leaders and volunteers to define research questions, ensure data integrity, and recommend actionable strategies based on analytical findings.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical foundation, including Analytical Skills and Analytics expertise to interpret complex employment and organizational data.
  • Proficiency in Statistics and Data Analytics to design studies, conduct quantitative analysis, and validate findings.
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools and techniques to create clear, impactful dashboards and reports for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate data insights into practical recommendations that support advocacy, policy, and organizational decisions.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, Python/R, or BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly beneficial.
  • Prior experience in labor research, social impact, HR analytics, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work independently in a part-time hybrid setup, and commitment to employee rights and fair workplace practices.
