Role Description

This is a part-time Industrial Engineering Manager role based in Dubai with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a combination of on-site presence and work-from-home.

The Industrial Engineering Manager will analyze and optimize processes across operations, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.

Daily responsibilities include evaluating workflows, designing and implementing process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address operational bottlenecks.

The role will involve coordinating with supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering stakeholders to align practices with organizational goals and employee welfare considerations.

The manager will also prepare reports, present data-driven recommendations, and support continuous improvement initiatives in line with FITE’s mission of fair and sustainable workplace practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, with experience leading or coordinating technical projects.
  • Hands-on experience in Process Improvement, including workflow analysis, optimization, and implementation of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles, including coordination between procurement, production, and distribution functions.
  • Background in Manufacturing environments, with familiarity in production planning, capacity utilization, and quality standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and represent employee-centric perspectives.
  • Experience working in unionized or advocacy-focused environments is an advantage, as is familiarity with labor standards and workplace policies.
