About This Role
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Ensure adherence to UAE tax laws, including timely filing and reporting of VAT returns.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and maintaining audit-ready records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business planning.
- Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Senior Accountant with 2–5 years of experience.
Qualification: CA / Inter CA preferred
Strong accounting & financial reporting skills
Experience in trading or similar industry preferred
Good knowledge of VAT & UAE compliance
Ability to work independently
