About This Role
Oversee civil construction projects from planning to completion.
- Lead and manage civil construction projects from concept to closeout, including planning, design coordination, scheduling, and execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and local, state, and federal codes.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, architects, and stakeholders to align project goals and resolve technical challenges.
- Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays or risks.
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to ensure financial accountability.
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance reviews to maintain construction standards.
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management and clients.
Requirements
Civil Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing civil construction projects, preferably in infrastructure, transportation, or utility sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and CAD/BIM software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in dynamic environments with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
