1. Minimum Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline from a globally recognized institution.
- Mandatory Certifications: Formally verified professional certification in solar PV system design, installation, site-testing, and commercial commissioning from a recognized engineering body. Certification must explicitly cover applicable IEC and British Standards (BS) frameworks for photovoltaic platforms and electrical installations.
- Minimum Experience: Minimum 13+ years of specialized engineering experience strictly within advanced distributed renewable energy systems and infrastructure networks.
*A. Technical Design Evaluation & Approval*
- Oversee, critique, and provide formal engineering approval for advanced solar PV and localized renewable grid-connected designs to guarantee strict technical safety.
- Verify structural compliance of all layouts with the Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and KAHRAMAA structural frameworks.
*B. Standard Compliance & Field Auditing*
- Enforce rigorous international IEC frameworks and localized British Standards (such as BS 7671 equivalents) across all phases of distributed renewable project deployments.
- Act as the primary site-level compliance authority during high-voltage integration phases and grid synchronization.
*C. Testing, Commissioning & Closeout*
- Supervise, audit, and execute physical site-testing, safety inspections, and final commercial commissioning procedures before handoff to the state grid network.
