About the role

Monitor live vehicle operations, respond to remote assistance requests, and help ensure rides are completed safely and efficiently across Dubai.

Support autonomous vehicles through a remote assistance platform, escalate issues, and contribute to the fleet's operational knowledge base.

Report to the Remote Operator Lead and work closely with the Remote Operations Team.

Remote operations

  • Monitor live vehicle operations and respond to remote assistance requests in real time.
  • Support vehicles through the remote assistance platform and follow operational protocols.
  • Resolve issues independently where possible; escalate unresolved issues promptly and track resolution to closure.
  • Identify vehicle behaviour or system performance patterns that need attention, and communicate findings to relevant teams.

Reporting and support

  • Collect, organize, and summarize remote assistance system issues and feedback.
  • Assist customer service specialists with user communications and information follow-up.
  • Support testing and feedback tasks related to remote assistance and customer service systems.

Shift requirements

  • Work on a shift basis with rotating schedules providing 24/7 fleet coverage.
  • Exact days and times are communicated by the line manager; schedules may change based on operational needs.

Qualifications and requirements

  • High school diploma or above; field of study unrestricted.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, and standard digital tools such as email and internal platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication; Arabic is a plus.
  • Calm under pressure, strong situational awareness, and able to learn new systems quickly.
  • Comfortable working rotating shifts in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Valid UAE driving licence and at least three years of driving experience.
  • Clean driving record: no major traffic violations in the past 12 months and no specified reckless, DUI, drug-related, or serious-injury fatality driving offences.

Success measures

Handle remote assistance requests accurately and within protocol response times.

Escalate and track issues to resolution without gaps; deliver timely operational reports with relevant observations.

Maintain safety without compromise.
