Position Summary

Regional Business Partnering

• Partner with regional general managers and provide data-driven insights for market expansion and operational efficiency.
• Create and manage regional financial statements, forecasts, and detailed budgets with general managers.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting and performance analysis for regional operational and financial targets.
• Connect regional operations with central finance and align corporate goals and reporting standards.

Financial Setup and Business Support

• Lead financial setup for new regional entities and establish local financial processes.
• Develop and implement field-level financial management and reporting SOPs.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor onboarding during initial startup.
• Oversee implementation and local management of financial systems, maintaining data integrity and streamlined reporting.
• Evaluate market investments and fleet optimization initiatives; translate regional KPIs into projections and actionable insights.
• Identify trends, variances, cost savings, and revenue growth opportunities; support corporate planning and forecasting.

Experience and Background

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
• 5–8 years of progressive finance experience; field finance, regional management, or operational finance experience is preferred.
• Experience in mobility, autonomous vehicles, rideshare, logistics, or fleet-based operations is a plus.
• Proven experience with cross-border financial operations, multi-entity reporting, and international expansion in a global technology or fleet management enterprise.

Modeling and Technical Skills

• Strong Excel and Google Sheets financial modeling and scenario-planning skills, including building models from scratch.
• Experience with forecasting and budgeting; advanced Excel functions include INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays, XLOOKUP, and Power Query.
• Proficiency with BI tools and financial planning systems; VBA, Python, or SQL for automated data pulls is a plus.

Skills and Competencies

• Understand transportation technology and on-demand platform metrics such as cost per mile, utilization, and autonomous vehicle operational performance.
• Distill complex financial data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with leadership.
• Understand GAAP and IFRS as applied to financial models, accruals, depreciation, and three-statement linkage.
• Communicate across functions and with both leadership and fleet managers; demonstrate project management, initiative, ownership, and adaptability in an ambiguous environment.
