Responsibilities
- Design advanced math problems to test AI performance, including multi-step reasoning, abstraction, and symbolic manipulation.
- Develop clear, rigorous, step-by-step solutions.
- Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and reasoning quality.
- Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks across undergraduate- to PhD-level math topics.
Requirements
- PhD, in progress or completed, in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced domains.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in writing and provide structured feedback.
Work arrangement
- Fully remote work with flexible hours.
Pay and assignments
- Pay is $100 or more per hour, depending on role and candidate expertise.
- Assignments are contract roles with defined start and end dates and may be up to 40 hours per week.
- Shortlisted experts complete an evaluation before selection.
