Are you a vigilant and dedicated professional looking for a rewarding career in security? We are seeking someone to join us as a Relief Security Officer to help cover the core team's absence, holidays etc, and maintain a safe and secure environment for our staff, visitors, and assets. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security protocols are upheld at all times. If you have strong observational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle situations calmly and professionally, we would love to hear from you!

As a Relief Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere

Conducting regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism.

Monitoring access points, CCTV, and handling security procedures

Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.

Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.

Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required.

Adapting to different client sites – no two days are the same

Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns

To hold a current DS SIA Licence

Able to travel around Manchester, Lincoln, Nottingham and Rotherham

Proven experience in a security role or a similar position.

Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities.

Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
