- HSBC’s Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) – International Mid-Market (IMM) team in Qatar is looking for a high-performing Relationship Manager GCB5 to support, manage and grow a portfolio of internationally minded Corporates and with revenues from $100m to over $2bn.
- You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients with cross-border ambitions, connecting them to HSBC’s international network and full suite of corporate banking solutions.
- In this role, you will:
- Expand existing client partnerships and secure new, long-term relationships aligned with HSBC’s international strategy.
- Serve as a consultative partner, providing insights and guidance to help clients succeed locally and internationally.
- Proactively identify and engage high-value prospects within your target market.
- Collaborate with product specialists and international colleagues across HSBC’s network to deliver tailored solutions and increase share of wallet.
- Own the client experience and support junior colleagues in delivering high service standards.
- Proactively manage credit, operational, regulatory and financial crime risks across the portfolio.
- Ensure full adherence to internal policies, controls, and external regulations.
- To be successful, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in Corporate Banking managing mid-market or large corporate relationships.
- Proven ability to match client needs with solutions including Treasury & Cash Management, Trade Finance, Foreign Exchange, and lending/financing.
- Strong commercial acumen and awareness of economic and regulatory trends.
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated capability in commercial lending and risk assessment.
- A client-centric mindset, positive attitude, and drive to deliver results.
