Role overview

What you’ll do

• Build financing packages with customers to meet their business needs.
• Execute loans, including sales, loan structuring, financial documentation, securing approvals, and internal coordination.
• Build relationships with FCC customers and internal partners and identify opportunities to grow the loan portfolio.
• Travel to customer farms and offices to understand business needs and provide tailored support.
• Analyze customer financial information; create, process, and approve new credit facilities.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, commerce, or a related field.
• At least one year of related experience in agricultural finance, lending, credit analysis, business development, or sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience clearly communicating financial information or recommendations to customers or internal partners.
• Ability to build and maintain business relationships with customers, centres of influence, or community partners.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel for customer meetings.
• Passion for agriculture and knowledge of farming operations or agribusiness environments.

Preferred qualifications

• Customer service experience, ideally in a financial, agricultural, or advisory setting.
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.

Compensation

• Salary range is $83,040–$112,340, with eligibility for a performance-based incentive.
