What you will do
- Design, develop, test and maintain enterprise data pipelines, integrations and processing solutions.
- Support cloud data infrastructure, production pipelines, data movement, automation and operational reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex data, integration and performance issues; lead root-cause analysis and recommend sustainable fixes.
- Analyze requirements, participate in design sessions and create secure, maintainable data solutions.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, implementation support and continuous improvement of development standards and Agile practices.
- Guide project work, coach peers and help teams resolve data development challenges.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline.
- At least six years of related software development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on AWS data platform experience, including AWS Glue, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR and AWS Step Functions.
- Senior-level experience designing, developing, testing and supporting complex data solutions and production systems.
- Strong SQL skills and one or more data development languages such as Python, PySpark or Java.
- Production troubleshooting experience and knowledge of automated testing, code reviews, version control, CI/CD and maintainable design patterns.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and commitment to supportable solutions.
Preferred qualifications
- Informal technical leadership experience, including troubleshooting leadership, project guidance or peer mentoring, is preferred.
- Experience with data modelling, data quality controls, monitoring, data governance, data lakes or data warehouses is preferred.
- Agile product or platform team experience and cross-functional collaboration are preferred.
- AWS, data engineering, DevOps or related technical certifications are considered.

Salary range
- The posting lists a salary range of $94,620 to $128,020, plus eligibility for a performance-based incentive; no pay cadence is specified.
