I. Role Summary
Bevatel is seeking a highly motivated Regulatory Affairs Specialist to manage our institutional relationships and compliance frameworks.
In this role, you will act as the primary bridge between Bevatel and national regulatory bodies, ensuring our innovative communication services align with the Kingdom’s latest standards.
This position is vital for maintaining our operational licenses and managing the essential resources that power our enterprise solutions within the Saudi Vision 2030 framework.
II. Key Responsibilities
- CST & Institutional Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) and other relevant government ministries. Manage all official correspondence and represent Bevatel in regulatory workshops.
- Licensing & Resource Management: Oversee the lifecycle of operational licenses and manage national numbering resources, ensuring full compliance with national plans and CST reporting standards.
- Compliance Oversight: Monitor Bevatel’s service portfolio to ensure strict adherence to the Telecommunications and IT Act, CST bylaws, and data residency mandates.
- National Security Coordination: Support the alignment of internal operations with MOI security protocols and NCA cybersecurity controls for enterprise communication services.
- Regulatory Reporting: Coordinate the preparation and timely submission of mandatory quarterly reports, financial disclosures, and technical performance indicators to the CST.
- Policy Monitoring: Proactively track updates in the regulatory landscape and public consultations, providing the management team with actionable insights on legislative changes.
- Violation & Dispute Management: Lead the resolution of any regulatory inquiries or notices, ensuring swift and compliant outcomes to protect the company's standing.
Requirements
- Nationality: Strictly Saudi National.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Government Relations, or Legal Compliance within the ICT or Telecommunications sectors in KSA.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- Languages: Native-level fluency in Arabic (expert in formal government drafting) and professional English.
- Technical Skills: * Direct experience navigating the CST (CITC) Business Portal and other government platforms (Etimad, etc.).
- Solid understanding of the Saudi regulatory environment and telecom licensing frameworks.
- Strong negotiation and diplomatic communication skills.
