About the Company

A well-established international FMCG food distribution company is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead General Trade sales operations across the Western Region of Saudi Arabia.

This role manages a large geographic territory and a multi-layered field sales team across self-service, discounters, wholesale, and cash van channels.

About The Role

This role manages a large geographic territory and a multi-layered field sales team across self-service, discounters, wholesale, and cash van channels.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Western Region revenue, volume, and distribution targets across all GT channels.
  • Lead and develop supervisors, and salesmen to consistently exceed targets.
  • Drive trade execution: shelf presence, numeric distribution, planogram compliance, and promotions.
  • Grow the active customer base and open new accounts across the region.
  • Conduct regular field visits for coaching, quality control, and opportunity identification.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and market intelligence reports for senior management.
  • Coordinate with supply chain to ensure stock availability and route efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years in FMCG sales, with at least 3 years as an RSM or senior ASM.
  • Proven KSA market experience is required, strong knowledge of the Saudi General Trade landscape.
  • Experience managing a large geographic region with multi-level field teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using sales management and reporting tools.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Reports to: Sales Director.
  • High-visibility regional leadership role with strong career progression.
  • Autonomy to shape regional strategy within a growing national company.
