We are currently looking for a
Regional Sales Manager – Travel Retail
based in Dubai, UAE.
This role brings commercial vision and acts as an instrumental cornerstone to the TR strategy across the region, aligned with the global vision of the house.
Your Mission
The primary mandate is to maximize business potential, market share and profitability across the region.
This is achieved through developing and executing a regional TR strategy, building senior-level partnerships with Duty Free operators, leading a tiered field team, and enhancing brand equity and visibility to drive sustainable growth.
Regional Strategy & Commercial Planning
- Develop and execute a regional Travel Retail strategy aligned with global commercial priorities and brand direction
- Translate the global brand strategy into market-specific execution plans, activations and door-level tactics
- Identify white space opportunities — new doors, premium locations, category expansion, travel exclusives — and propose strategic initiatives to the Global Head of TR
- Prepare and manage the region’s sales and expenditure budget, ensuring ROI discipline
- Create and execute annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to drive sell-in and sell-out growth
- Deliver sell-in, sell-out, profitability and ranking targets across the region
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategy proactively.
Duty Free Operator Relationship Management
- Build and manage senior-level relationships with key Duty Free operators (e.g. AVOLTA, Lagardere, Heinemann and regional operators)
- Lead Joint Business Planning sessions with buyers and category managers, securing alignment on targets, investment and activations
- Negotiate listings, shelf space, premium locations, pop-up and animation slots
- Develop long-term strategic partnerships that go beyond transactional buying relationships.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for all commercial and operational matters with key accounts
- Represent AMOUAGE at industry events, trade fairs and buyer meetings.
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach and develop a tiered field team comprising Regional Supervisors and Beauty Advisors
- Set clear KPIs for the Supervisor layer and hold them accountable for door-level performance and BA management
- Conduct regular field visits, ride-alongs and in-store coaching to ensure execution excellence and brand standards
- Lead recruitment, onboarding and induction of field staff in partnership with HR
- Develop individual development plans, identify training needs and support career progression
- Manage team scheduling, rostering and deployment across doors to optimise coverage and productivity
- Handle performance management conversations and address underperformance decisively and fairly
- Foster a high-performance, consumer-obsessed team culture rooted in brand pride.
In-Store Execution & Brand Experience
- Ensure full compliance with brand merchandising, VM guidelines and animation standards across all doors
- Drive exceptional consumer experience at the point of sale through team training and regular quality checks
- Oversee execution of product launches, animations, and promotional events in-store
- Manage day-to-day retailer sales activities and resolve operational issues swiftly.
Data, Reporting & Insights
- Gather, analyse and act on sell-out data to identify opportunities, optimise deployment and course-correct underperforming doors
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business reviews to the Global Head of TR
- Track and report on KPIs including sell-out, sell-in, ranking, space share and team productivity
- Use data to build compelling commercial cases for investment with both internal stakeholders and DFO buyers.

Your Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum 7 years of sales management experience in luxury, fragrance or cosmetics
- Minimum 4 years of direct Travel Retail experience — a deep understanding of the TR channel is essential
- Proven track record of managing relationships and winning at the negotiation table
- Demonstrated experience leading tiered field teams (supervisor + frontline) across multiple doors or markets
- Experience in the GCC / Middle East TR landscape is highly advantageous
- Europe or Asia Pacific TR experience is a plus.
