Drives growth of the Eye Disease Assessment Program by building referral partnerships with physicians and community organizations.
Focuses primarily on Red Deer and surrounding areas.
The program provides eye disease screening and aims to support early detection of conditions that can cause vision loss.
Responsibilities
- Identify and educate physicians about the program and its services.
- Develop physician leads through consultative sales and present warm leads to the General Manager and Director of Operations.
- Visit clinics and community health centres and maintain partner relationships.
- Identify community partners and provide a positive cold-calling experience.
- Coordinate participation in promotional events, health fairs, and eye-health awareness opportunities.
- Increase visibility, identify business channels, and support market-position projects.
- Collect market data, prepare analysis reports, and maintain the sales-funnel spreadsheet.
- Stay current on company procedures and relevant professional knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of business development experience; healthcare experience is preferred.
- Experience in relationship management, consultative sales, networking, and professional presentations.
- Healthcare services, referral-process, and community-outreach knowledge is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly by automobile.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Compensation
- Pay is $70,000–$75,000 per year.
