Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Receptionist role based in Dubai.

The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact, greeting members and visitors, answering inquiries in person and by phone, and directing individuals to the appropriate staff or facilities.

Daily responsibilities include managing front desk operations, handling check-ins and check-outs, maintaining a clean and organized reception area, and coordinating appointment bookings or class registrations.

The role also involves managing incoming calls and emails, providing accurate information about services and schedules, and assisting with basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and handling membership forms or payments.

The Receptionist will collaborate closely with coaches and management to support smooth daily operations and ensure a welcoming, professional experience for all members and guests.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with members of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in receptionist duties and front desk operations, including greeting visitors, managing check-ins, and handling inquiries.
  • Solid phone etiquette and experience managing multi-line phone systems or high call volumes.
  • Clerical skills such as basic data entry, filing, appointment scheduling, and handling simple payment or registration processes.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with basic computer applications and scheduling or membership software; prior experience in a fitness, sports, or hospitality setting is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills commonly used in the UAE are a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in administration, hospitality, or related fields is beneficial.
