Recent CDL-A Graduate - Paid Training | Regional Dry Van Job Type: Driving

This dry van opening welcomes qualified recent CDL-A graduates and combines paid training with Western regional freight, two-week home-time cycles and roughly 1,900-2,000 miles per week after training.

Complete approximately 3-5 weeks and 200-250 behind-the-wheel hours with an experienced driver. Utah trainee pay is $800 per week. Orientation lasts no more than two days, and the $300 orientation payment is paid upon hire.

$1,200-$1,500 average weekly earnings

$0.50 per mile at the six-month pay band

$15 stop pay

Freight moves through Western markets including Utah, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and California. Home time is every two weeks, with some opportunities for a 34-hour reset at home.

Live loads and live unloads

No hand unloading

Day/night schedules

Weekend and some holiday work

Mainly Freightliner tractors

Automatic and 10-speed manual transmissions

Average tractor age approximately 1.5 years

Permanently assigned truck - no slip seating

Must be at least 21 years old

Valid Class A CDL

Minimum 120 hours from an accredited truck driving school

CDL-A trainees with less than 6 months of recent driving experience are welcome

Solid employment history without major unemployment gaps

Acceptable MVR and driving record required

Must pass a DOT-compliant pre-employment drug test

Must meet all applicable driver qualification and hiring requirements

Must be available for day/night driving and weekend work when required
