CDL-A Reefer Trainee - Paid Training - Central PA Job Type: Driving

Central Pennsylvania drivers: paid reefer training, then solo lanes out of the Palmyra, PA area to Virginia, Tennessee, Illinois and Texas.

Mostly Freightliners, average tractor age around 1.5 years

Automatics and 10-speeds

A trainer rides with you for 3-5 weeks (200-250 hours)

You earn $650 every week of training

Backing, docks, hours of service and planning, all on live freight

After sign-off you move into your own truck

$1,300-$1,500 average weekly after training

Guaranteed $1,000 a week for the first 3 months solo

Paid every week

Lanes include PA to VA, TX to TN, TX to IL

1,800-2,000 miles a week

Home every two weeks, depending on location

Some live loads and live unloads

2-day orientation, $300 paid when you are hired

We put you up during orientation

One-way bus fare paid back with your receipt

Valid Class A CDL. New CDL graduates welcome.

21 years or older

No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years

Pass a DOT physical and a hair and urine drug test
