About This Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive deliveries from suppliers and verify items against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspect goods for quality, quantity, and any damages or discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation and system entry of received items.
- Coordinate with warehouse/store team for proper storage and arrangement.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area.
- Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Assist in stock counts and inventory control activities when required.
Requirements:
- High school or equivalent qualification.
- 1–2 years of experience in receiving/storekeeping (preferably in hypermarket or retail).
- Basic knowledge of inventory systems and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle physical work and operate basic equipment.
