The role develops dishes and concepts and improves recipe quality and consistency across two branches.
Responsibilities
- Develop dishes and food concepts aligned with the restaurant identity.
- Lead cooking trials and tastings, evaluate feedback, and refine recipes.
- Improve flavor, texture, presentation, and practical execution.
- Approve final food quality and communicate standards to kitchen teams.
- Document approved recipes, weights, methods, and yields with the R&D Sous Chef.
- Consider ingredient availability, portion costs, and operational practicality.
- Support implementation and consistency across both branches.
Requirements
- Proven professional chef experience with hands-on menu development and recipe testing.
- Strong creative cooking, tasting, and food-quality assessment skills.
- Ability to create repeatable recipes suitable for restaurant service.
- Good collaboration, organization, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food hygiene, ingredient handling, and production consistency.
- Availability to work across Jumeirah and Al Khawaneej in Dubai.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 10,000–12,000 per month.
