- Monitor project budgets and ensure that costs are managed effectively.
- Identify and mitigate potential cost overruns and risks.
- Work closely with the project team to understand project requirements and provide cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis to evaluate project feasibility and profitability.
- Prepare and submit progress reports on project costs to project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure that materials and services are available when needed.
- Review and approve invoices and payment requests from suppliers and contractors.
- Provide guidance and support to project team members on cost-related matters.
- Maintain the records of variation submitted and approved.
