Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for elevator installation and maintenance projects. Analyze tender documents and collaborate with the sales team to develop competitive bids.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled throughout the project lifecycle. Identify potential financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Oversee the preparation and management of contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions and manage any variations or amendments.
• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors for procurement of materials and services. Evaluate bids and negotiate terms to ensure value for money and quality standards are met.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and verify that installations meet company standards and client specifications. Prepare comprehensive progress reports for stakeholders.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising quality or performance.
• Identify and assess potential risks related to project costs and timelines. Develop risk management plans and engage with project teams to implement mitigation strategies.
• Address and resolve any contractual or financial disputes in a timely manner, maintaining strong relationships with all parties involved.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project-related documents, including contracts, correspondence, and financial reports.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in elevator technology and construction methods. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5 years of proven experience in quantity surveying or similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
