Al Reem Marble & Granite LLC is a leading specialist in natural stone and marble works, delivering high-end finishes for luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
With a reputation for craftsmanship and precision, we collaborate with top-tier contractors and designers to bring unique architectural visions to life.
As we continue to expand, we're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team and help manage the financial and contractual aspects of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Understanding the client requirements and quantities take off as per drawings.
- Identifying gaps between BOQ and drawings, specifications and conditions of the contract and taking it for a logical closure.
- Participation in the pre-tendering activities with client, architect and project managers and raising relevant pre-bid queries from the given tender.
- Preparing and analyzing costing for estimation, quantity take off for lump sum and re-measured tenders.
- Review of tender drawings & take off the marble detail for pricing.
- Analyzing completed work and arranging payment certificates to subcontractors.
- Valuations – including value engineering and management.
- Writing reports and preparing documents related to costing and budget.
- Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports;
- Preparation of contracts, including details regarding quantities of required materials.
- Preparing and submitting final accounts.
- Preparing interim and final valuations, variations and claims of the construction site.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
· 2-3 years experience as Quantity Surveyor
· Experience working with AutoCAD and validating quantities from the given drawings.
· Experience working on various construction projects, including residential and commercial sites.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with extraordinary negotiation abilities.
· Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying.
· Familiarity with contract law and construction contracts.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
