Lead commercial management and cost control of major high-rise tower projects across the UAE/GCC, from pre-contract through project closeout.
Responsibilities
- Direct cost planning, budget preparation, cash-flow forecasting, and value engineering for structural, facade, and MEP packages.
- Administer construction contracts, interim payments, variation orders, and subcontractor accounts.
- Evaluate, quantify, and negotiate commercial claims, prolongation costs, and extension-of-time entitlements.
- Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, contractual risk evaluations, and trade-package comparisons.
- Manage procurement, final accounts, and commercial closeout.
Requirements
- 15+ years of quantity surveying experience, including major high-rise commercial or residential projects in the UAE or GCC.
- In-depth knowledge of FIDIC conditions, local GCC standard forms, POMI/CESMM measurement methods, and dispute management.
- B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Civil Engineering; MRICS certification is highly preferred.
- Expert cost estimation, advanced contract negotiation, financial reporting, and fluency in English.
