Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- At least 5 years of quantity-surveying experience within the UAE construction industry.
- Experience with building construction and high-rise projects.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and tendering.
- Experience in pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts, variations, claims, and subcontractor payments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity-surveying software.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities and cost estimates.
- Perform quantity take-offs from approved drawings.
- Prepare interim payment applications and evaluate subcontractor payments.
- Monitor budgets, costs, and project financial progress.
- Evaluate variations, claims, and contractual adjustments.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and final accounts.
- Measure and document completed work accurately.
Compensation
- Monthly pay is AED 6,000–8,000, based on experience and qualifications.
Work location
