Role overview
Quality Test Engineer II role focused on ensuring high-quality software products and services.
The team technically supports editorial relationships and licenses for secondary content.
Automation testing is the focus over manual testing; training may be offered to promising new hires.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute manual regression, functional, and end-to-end tests as required.
- Complete assigned tasks in line with sprint durations and take ownership of workload.
- Attend and participate in squad, team, and business-unit meetings.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of quality engineering experience using Salesforce.
- Hands-on experience with manual functional testing; strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Understand quality engineering methodology and best practices, and the role of testing in the SDLC and STLC.
- Communicate technical and non-technical concepts effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Experience with chat-based collaboration tools such as MS Teams, Slack, or similar.
- Exposure to JIRA, Confluence, or similar is listed; self-learning aptitude and familiarity with Agile methodologies and ceremonies are sought.
- Interest in automation testing technology.
