Description
- The Quality Officer is responsible for performing quality improvement activities designed to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements, and perform basic and advanced quality processes and initiatives.
- Essential Job functions and Key Accountabilities:
- The **Quality Officer** responsibilities include:
- Collect, validate, and monitor JAWDA KPI data in line with DOH requirements
- Prepare accurate and timely reports related to quality performance indicators
- Support and participate in JAWDA Data Certification audits
- Assist in preparation for and coordination of international audits (e.g., JCIA)
- Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Conduct analysis of performance trends and provide actionable insights for improvement
- Deliver presentations on quality metrics and performance outcomes to internal stakeholders
- Support initiatives related to patient safety, incident management, and quality improvement
- Ensure adherence to DOH Abu Dhabi regulations and standards.
- **Technical:** Strong knowledge of JAWDA Performance Indicators (General and Specialized Hospital KPIs, Maternal and Perinatal Care, Waiting Time, Pediatric, Orthopedic, Outpatient Mental Health, Outpatient Rehabilitation, Ophthalmology, Primary Care, One Day Surgery, etc.).
- **Core competencies:** Analytical thinking and attention to detail, strong communication skills, problem-solving and critical thinking, team collaboration with clinical departments, knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations (DOH Abu Dhabi).
- **Additional preferred skills:** Experience with DOH Malaffi/healthcare data integration, electronic medical records; incident management.
