The Quality Manager will maintain and enhance a robust quality management system across Heathrow capital delivery.
The role supports right-first-time project delivery, governance, compliance, supplier performance, and continual improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier audits and quality assessments against ISO 9001 and Heathrow quality standards.
- Develop and maintain the quality management framework and assess supplier quality systems.
- Support tender evaluations and contract reviews by embedding quality requirements and KPIs.
- Communicate audit findings to senior stakeholders and promote quality across the supply chain.
- Identify process improvements and clarify quality responsibilities.
Required qualifications and experience
- Qualified Lead Auditor with practical ISO 9001 implementation and auditing experience.
- Strong supplier quality management and contract compliance understanding.
- Experience developing or maintaining quality management systems in large or regulated environments.
- Strong report writing, presentation, stakeholder-management, and analytical problem-solving skills.
Preferred experience
- Quality management in aviation, major infrastructure, large-scale capital delivery, or supply-chain environments is desirable.
- IT quality management experience, including assurance, governance, and continual improvement, is desirable.
